Admission Requirements:

In Oxford University, students get enrolled from 150 countries each year. So all those international students who decide their educational destination Oxford University they submit admission application till 15th October and they will follow same procedure which is mention for local students but they will submit some additional scorecard and test reports. It may include English language test scorecard, visa and immigration information. University’s authority can take interview and arrange some tests for international students.

If your basic language is English and you have been always resident and citizen of a majority English speaking country recognizes by UK visa and Immigration or you are a past student of Oxford University and applying for readmission then there is no need to submit English’s proficiency letter. Otherwise you will submit the English proficiency letter’s copy as evidence for admission. If you are citizen of low income country as declared by the World Bank and can’t afford application fee then you can apply for admission through fee wavier application. For this you must meet these requirements if you are eligible for fee wavier:

  1. Your country is listed in low income countries list according to the World Bank.
  2. You would be unable to apply in this university without an application fee waiver
  3. You meet the entry requirements for your course.

The university maintains the largest library system in the UK. With over 11 million volumes housed on 120 miles of shelving, the Bodleian group is the second-largest library in the UK, after the British Library. The Bodleian is a legal deposit library, which means that it is entitled to request a free copy of every book published in the UK. As such, its collection is growing at a rate of over three miles (five kilometers) of shelving every year.

Oxford University has also been organizing many museums and all are free for the public. The Ashmolean Museum is oldest museum of UK and it was established in 1683 and developed now with lot of collections of art and archaeology. The University Museum of Natural History holds the university’s zoological, entomological and geological specimens. Oxford University is offering scholarships to international students. Students are eligible in Oxford Bursary or Crankstart scholarship if they are pursuing their 1st undergraduate degree or undergraduate Medicine degree. If you are starting your session in 2021 then you will be notified about scholarships from mid to late September 2021.

While applications has been closed for scholarships 2021 and dead line was 10th February now candidates will submit their applications in January 2022. Oxford University is free for those students who are studying their first degree and their family’s income is less than £42,875 per year. Such students are also eligible for an annual non repayable bursary for living costs but this offer is just for UK citizens.

Once scholarship is awarded, The University will provide full refund in respect of tuition fees to all students while accommodation and living costs grant will also be provided. You can get return air ticket fare per year as well.
